About the role

We're looking for a Senior Insights & Improvement Analyst to help improve the quality of the analytics and insights we deliver to our clients.

This role is less about building dashboards from scratch and more about being a strong second set of eyes across our work.

You'll review dashboards, reports and analysis produced by our team, identify gaps or opportunities for deeper analysis, and help make sure we're giving clients insights that are genuinely useful to their business.

We're looking for someone who can look beyond what the numbers say and understand what's driving them, why they matter and where we should be looking next.

What you'll do

• Review dashboards, reports and analysis before they reach clients.
• Identify trends, anomalies, risks and opportunities within business data.
• Challenge assumptions and check whether conclusions are supported by the data.
• Spot gaps where deeper analysis could add value.
• Provide constructive feedback and help improve analysts' work.
• Turn technical analysis into clear commercial insights.
• Review KPIs, calculations and business logic for accuracy and relevance.
• Help improve our analytics and quality assurance processes.
• Develop an understanding of our clients' businesses and what matters to their management teams.
• Work closely with our Managing Director and analytics team.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, commercial analysis or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience working with business and operational data.
• Strong understanding of KPIs and performance reporting.
• Confidence reviewing and challenging analytical work.
• Ability to spot issues, patterns and opportunities that may not be immediately obvious.
• Ability to explain complex findings in simple business language.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Technical experience

Experience with some of the following would be valuable:

• Power BI
• SQL
• Excel
• DAX and Power Query
• Data modelling and visualisation
• Financial and operational reporting
• Microsoft Fabric or Azure

You don't need to be our strongest technical developer. We're more interested in your ability to understand the data, challenge the analysis and find the insight behind it.

Working arrangement

This is a full-time remote position based in the Philippines, supporting our Perth-based team and Australian clients.

You'll need a reliable internet connection, a suitable home working environment and good availability during agreed Perth business hours.
