About the role

As a Senior Associate Analyst, you’ll take ownership of one or more key client relationships while supporting the delivery of high-quality analytics solutions across other Gemcutter clients.

You’ll work closely with clients and the Gemcutter team to manage delivery, communicate progress, solve problems, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure our analytics solutions continue to create value.

The role is highly client-facing. You’ll be trusted to manage relationships, oversee delivery and provide technical support while helping other analysts deliver their work effectively. This reflects the original role overview, where a Senior Associate primarily manages one or more key clients while supporting other clients as needed.

What you’ll be doing

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key clients.
• Manage client meetings, project updates, delivery dates and expectations.
• Deliver analytics projects and provide ongoing client support.
• Oversee the performance and delivery of team members assigned to your key clients.
• Support Associate Analysts with project work and technical guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve or expand existing client solutions.
• Provide client training and troubleshoot technical issues after go-live.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and support data mapping, security and refresh processes.
• Regularly seek client feedback and identify areas for improvement.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience building and developing analytical solutions, preferably in a business or consulting environment.
• Strong data visualisation skills using Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently work with clients and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
